Regulations
1. Entries close on different dates (please check schedule) entry forms together with specified fees must be received by the closing date, otherwise they will not be accepted.

2. All classes of exhibits to be at the Showground and where necessary staged at 9 am on the first day of the Show for judging purposes, except where otherwise mentioned.

3. Exhibits of flowers must be grown by exhibitor. Exhibits of flowers must conform to restrictions as set out in Section F.

4. Machinery exhibits. Machinery will be allowed to work on the Showground during the Show at a position to be allotted. The President to have the power to stop any machinery at any time should it be deemed necessary.

5. Freight on Exhibits: Freight for exhibits sent to the Secretary must be prepaid otherwise they will not be received.

6. If called upon by the Committee exhibitors must declare that they conform to the conditions under which the prize or prizes for which they compete are offered; and the Committee may absolutely withhold payment of any prize unless such declaration shall be made within one month of the date when the exhibitor shall be called upon to make such a declaration.

7. Passes for livestock attendants will be issued at the discretion of the Secretary.

8. No exhibit in the Show Pavilions shall be removed before 4.00pm on the second day of the Show.

9. Exhibits must be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor.

10. Every care will be taken of exhibits but no responsibility will be accepted.

11. Awarding of prizes is solely in the hands of the judges, whose decisions shall be final.

12. No person shall act as Judge in any class in which he/she is an exhibitor.

13. When the judges consider the exhibits of any class do not possess sufficient merit to deserve a prize, the same can be withheld at their discretion.

14. In all classes where there are less than four (4) entries, the Judge may at his/her discretion award a first prize and/or a second prize, or make no award, dependent upon the Judge’s estimate of the standard or quality of the exhibit. This rule will not apply in classes where the prize has been donated by a
sponsor, unless so specified by the sponsor.

15. Any complaint or protest within the ring events must be lodged in writing to the ringside caravan within 30 minutes of the incident occurring, accompanied by a deposit of $50.00. Exhibitors making verbal protest in the ring will risk the penalty of expulsion from future Shows at the Committee’s pleasure.

16. Such Prize Money is paid subject to any subsequent protest being lodged in
accordance with Regulation 15 above. Prize Money not available at the Showground, or not collected, will be paid on application to the Secretary of the
Leeton Show Society Inc. Prize Money not applied for within two (2) months of the last day of the Show will be forfeited.

17. No responsibility is accepted for any errors and/or omissions in this Schedule.

18. The Committee or Head Steward’s interpretation of any regulations shall be final.

19. Local events are open to residents
residing within the boundary of the Shire of Leeton for a minimum of six (6) months. Local means Leeton Shire.

20. No person or institution shall be allowed to take up any collection on the Showground without the written consent of the Secretary. No exhibits may be removed at any time without the permission of the Chief Steward of the Section. On the second day, exhibitors may remove their exhibits between 4.00pm and 5.00pm. Exhibitors are requested to observe these regulations.
