ENTRIES CLOSE: 3 pm Thursday 8 October 2009

ENTRY FEE: $1.00

1st Prize $2.50, 2nd $1 unless otherwise stated

 

All exhibits to be at Secretary’s Office by 4 pm Thurs 8 October

Each exhibit must be the bona fide work of the exhibitor

No award will be made if the Judge considers the exhibit is not Show quality

No exhibit to be smaller than 250 ml (No tiny jars or half filled entries please)

Closures/lids (on all items except preserved fruit and vegetables) must be easy to remove. – if lid cannot be removed the exhibit will not be judged – Please check before you drop your entries in.
Please remove any fancy fabric covers as it is not possible to ensure they are replaced on the correct entries after judging.

Any signs of mould will result in disqualification from judging

  5. Any other variety of fruit in syrup
  6. Jar any variety fruit preserved by any method other than drying
  7. Jar Quinces in syrup
  8. Jar Tomatoes preserved whole in juice or brine
  9. Jar Olives preserved any method
  10. Jar Vegetables preserved any method
  11. Dried Fruit or Vegetables – presentation will be considered of importance in judging

  3. Jar Fig Jam (any combination) - variety name to be printed on plain label
  4. Jar Tomato Jam and any combination fruit - variety name to be printed on plain label
