SECTION Q: 

CHILDREN AND SCHOOL STUDENTS

 

ENTRIES CLOSE: In accordance with Open Sections

(See rules and conditions)

ENTRY FEE: $1

PRIZE MONEY: 1st $2.50 2nd $1 unless otherwise stated

 

· Note: the Pavilion will close from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday. Entries may be collected after 4:00pm

· Exhibitors must live or be students of schools within 100km of Leeton Post Office

· Open to students and children 16 years and under, unless otherwise stated in class guidelines

· Each exhibit must be the bona fide work of the exhibitor

· Any item that has been exhibited at a previous Show shall not be eligible

· Each and every exhibit must have been completed within 24 months prior to the first judging day of the Show

· Exhibits must be completed articles

· All entries must be accompanied by Leeton Show entry form and signed indemnity form

· Soiled work will not be accepted

· Exhibitor’s name must not be visible on the front of any item

· An article or garment may be exhibited unless otherwise stated

· Exhibits may be transferred to appropriate section at discretion of the Stewards

Notes:

§ All framed items must have hangers securely attached to back of article

§ Drawings and posters must have entrant’s name and address on the back of the work - DO NOT  write name on the front of the artwork

*Notes on Class 11 - School Artwork:

§ Artworks must be mounted on heavy paper or thin card to assist with displaying your artwork.

§ Name, School and Class must be on the back of the entry.

§ This class is to be co-ordinated by participating Schools.

Individual entries in this class will be entered into other classes at

§ The exhibit is to be the child’s own work.

§ Entries are to be at the Showground on the day stated in the Schedule.

§ Each exhibit is to have child’s name, school and class clearly printed on the back.

§ All prize money will be available from the Secretary’s office after 11:00am on Saturday.

§ Articles can be collected from 4:00pm on Saturday and up to 12:00 midday on Sunday. Articles not collected may be disposed of unless arrangements are made with the Secretary.

§ Encourage your child to enter for the enjoyment. Remember:  they are our future.

 

§ the discretion of the Steward.

§ Late entries in this class will be entered into other classes at the discretion of the Steward.

§ Closing date is Wednesday 7 September.

Decorate a gumboot, workboot or jogger. Use paint, glitter,
anything you can think of.
