Cast on 40 stitches. Knit garter stitch till hat measures  7”. Begin crown shaping.

1.                K8, K2 tog- repeat to end. 2. Knit

3.                K7, K2 tog- repeat to end. 4. Knit

5.                K6, K2 tog- repeat to end. 6. Knit 2tog, K5- repeat to end

7.                K4, K2 tog- repeat to end. 8. Knit 2tog, k3- repeat to end

9.                K2, K2 tog- repeat to end. 10. Knit

11.              K2 tog- repeat to end

12.              Knit 2tog- repeat to end

13.              K3tog- Fasten off. Sew along the side.
