Class 2—Essay [minimum 2000 words] (Open)

Leeton or Local Legends –

Write an essay in praise of special people or groups in your local community

1st Prize $25, 2nd Prize $10

 

Class 3 – Poem (School Student – Primary or Secondary)

Leeton or Local Legends –

Write a poem in praise of special people in your local community

1st Prize $10.00, 2nd Prize $5.00

           

The subject can be about any person or group who are quiet achievers in any community with 200 km of the Leeton Post Office. The subject might a special individual or a special group of people in your local community and may include service groups, community service personnel and schools.  Your local community should be clearly identified in the body of your entry.  Entry in this competition is also understood to be an approval to publish your entry if requested by Leeton Show Society Inc.

If you are writing about an individual make sure you obtain their permission before submitting your entry.
