CONDITIONS AND DEFINITIONS
∑ Exhibits to be staged ready for judging by 10:00am on Friday. No exhibit will be accepted after this time.
∑ NND means “Not Necessarily Distinct”. Distinct means different.
∑ Full bloom rose: stamens showing
∑ Vases: a vase must be taller than it is wide
∑ Bowl: a bowl must be wider than it is tall
∑ Container: a container is a vessel of any shape
∑ All arrangements must be the bona fide work of exhibitor
∑ No award will be made if the Judge considers the entry is not of Show quality
∑ Exhibits must be staged in containers suitable for size and height of
particular item, eg tall or top heavy exhibits must be in heavy or weighted containers
∑ All entries may be removed after 4:00pm on Saturday
∑ IMPORTANT: Exhibitors of flowers GROWN OUTSIDE THE MIA must provide a Statutory Declaration stating that:
∑ These plants were grown at a greater distance than 50 metres away from any Grapevine or Roots of Vines
∑ No Phylloxera exists or has existed in the nursery, garden or land in which these plants were grown.
