? All entries to be staged by 9.30am Friday 7 October for judging at 10:00am
? The Pavilion will close between 3:00 and 4:00pm Saturday. Entries may be removed after 4:00pm
? Each exhibit must be the bona fide work of the exhibitor
? Iced and decorated handwork only
? Tulle, ribbon or similar material is permitted
? Gold and Silver work permitted but must be detachable
? No wires to penetrate the iced cake
? Cleats or runners must be attached to all base boards
? Maximum board size is 40 cm by 33 cm
? All items must be presented on a cake board unless
otherwise stated
 
 

CLASS - Novice (Someone who has not won first in a similar class in any show)
 
1. Novelty Cake – cake to be in shape of subject

2. Decorated Cake

Any piece of Sugarcraft - figurines, flowers, moulding,
characters etc presented on a cake board

This Award is given by judges from the Cake Decorators Guild NSW as an award for creativity; encouragement and/or technical excellence.
 
Please note this award is given completely at the
discretion of the judges. If there are no entries deemed suitable this prize may not be awarded.
 
NOTE: Children’s sections “16 years and under” and
“10 years and under” are included in Section Q, however children are welcome to enter Novice or Open sections
